Ben Kittoe: Half-way Already in Rio de Janeiro! (March 2026) WAITING MTR
Bom dia, pessoal! Beleza? O meu terceiro mês no Rio de Janeiro passou muito rápido! Tenho trabalhado bastante, mas agora posso dizer com certeza que estou me sentindo em casa aqui no Brasil. Então vamos lá para o resumo deste mês. Como sempre, vou focar especificamente na cultura, na vida em casa e, claro, no meu trabalho!
A CULTURA
Este mês tenho percebido alguns detalhes e sentimentos que parecem ser muito importantes na cultura brasileira. Por exemplo, estou descobrindo que o povo brasileiro tem uma grande capacidade de aproveitar a vida sem precisar sempre querer mais. Todo mundo tem problemas, mas os brasileiros tambem têm sol, família e comida boa – e parece que é nisso que está o foco!! Então, apesar de ter sido um mês cheio de trabalho, tenho usado o meu tempo livre na praia, com amigos, tentando focar nas coisas positivas.
A VIDA EM CASA
O mês começou com o Carnaval, que foi a maior festa que já vi na minha vida! Todo mundo estava na rua dançando, estava muito lindo e eu adorei. Mas, agora que o Carnaval acabou, todo mundo tinha voltado ao ritmo normal de trabalho aqui em casa. Normalmente passamos a maior parte do dia fora da casa, trabalhando ou saindo. Mas no fim do dia gostamos de assistir uma novela juntos! Para mim, é uma ótima forma de aprender não só português, mas também conhecer melhor a cultura.
TRABALHO
Como já mencionei, o trabalho foi bem intenso este mês! Mas isso é porque estou assumindo mais responsabilidades, o que é uma coisa boa. Também, estou gostando muito e aprendendo várias coisas sobre uma indústria que realmente me interesse. Já, estou començando organizar lançamentos por conta própria e trabalhando em alguns projetos que são muito animado!
E é isso, gente! Foi um mês mais “normal”, no melhor sentido possível. Já não me sinto mais como um turista, e tudo está se tornando mais natural. Mas o tempo está passando rápido, e não acredito que já estou na metade dessa experiência! Estou muito animado para os últimos três meses. Até mais, tchau!
Good morning guys! Doing well? My third month in Rio de Janeiro went by very quickly! I have been working a lot, but can confidently say that I am feeling at home here in Brazil. So then, let’s crack o this month’s report. As always, I will specifically focus on the culture, life at home and, of course, my work!
CULTURE
This month I have been noticing some details and feelings that seem to be very importante in Brazilian culture. For example, I’m descovering that the Brazilian people have a great ability to enjoy life as it is, without wanting more. Everyone has problems, but Brazilians also have sun, family and good food – and it seems that this is the focus! So, despite having a month full of work, I have been spending my free time on the beach, with friends, trying to focus on the positive things.
LIFE AT HOME
The month started with Carnival, which was the biggest party I’ve ever seen in my life! Everything was in the street dancing, it was very beautiful and I loved it. But, now that Carnival is over, here at home everyone has gone back into the normal rhythm of work. Normally we spent most of the day out of the house, working or going out. However, at the end of the day we like to watch a soap opera together! For me, it’s a great way to not only learn portuguese, but also to better understand the culture.
WORK
As I already mentioned, work was pretty intense this month! But this is because I’m taking on more responsabilities, which is a good thing. Plus, I am really liking it and learning all sorts of things about an industry that genuinely interests me. Already I am starting to organize releases on my own and working on some really exciting projects!
And that’s all guys! It was a more “normal” month in the best way possíble. I am no longer feeling like a tourist, and everything is becoming more natural. But time is passing quickly, and I can’t believe that I am already halfway through this experience! I am very exciting for the next three months. See you later, bye!
