カワイイ モンスター カフェ ハラジュク
カワイイモンスターカフェ ハラジュクは、きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅの美術や演出を担当する増田セバスチャン氏が生み出してきた、カラフルでクレイジーなカフェである。メンユーと内装を通して「原宿KAWAII」文化の本物が体現化された。「原宿KAWAII」という文字通り、カワイイモンスターカフェは可愛い文化に溢れてる原宿で設立された。
カワイイモンスターカフェに入ったとたん、雰囲気がクレイジーで、楽しい雰囲気に変わった。カフィの真ん中に、ぐるぐる回っている大きいケーキ型のメリーゴーランド「SWEETS GO ROUND」が注目した。クレイジーな衣装を着こなすスタッフは、SWEETS GO ROUNDに乗り、ダンスをしてくれた。
メンユーに一目惚れ、カラフルな可愛らしい食べ物があり、原宿可愛いスタイルの影響の強さが分かる。私と友だちはメンユーから２つのメインディッシュと一つのデザートをシェアした。注文したのは、ワッフルとシロップとチキンを組み合わせた「ワッフルチキン・ブルックリン with モンスターディップ」と「モンスターに似ているM.A.D.B.L.T」。後で「カラフルポイゾンパフェ・エクルトリーム！」を追加した。
すべての食物はとても美味しく、本当の味わいは見た目の印象の味に当てた。カワイイモンスターカフェ行ったことがないなら、是非行ってみてください！

The “KAWAII MONSTER CAFEÉ HARAJUKU” is a colourful and crazy café which was created by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s art director Sebastian Masuda. The menu and the interior design allows visitors to experience real “Harajuku Kawaii” culture. As the words “Harajuku Kawaii” suggest, the KAWAII MONSTER CAFE is located in Harajuku, a district in Tokyo overflowing with kawaii (cute) culture.
This month, I went to experience the wonders of the KAWAII MONSTER CAFE with a friend. Before entering the café, a staff member introduced us to the café’s 4 very unique areas; “MUSHROOM DISCO” “MILK STAND” “Bar Experiment” “Mel-Tea ROOM”. Out of these 4 areas, we chose to sit in the “MUSHROOM DISCO” zone.
As soon as we entered the KAWAII MONSTER CAFE, a crazy and fun atmosphere suddenly settled upon us. At the centre of the café, we noticed the famous “SWEETS GO ROUND” ー a giant merry-go-round located at the centre of the café which takes on the appearance of a giant cake. Members of staff danced on the SWEETS GO ROUND to entertain the customers whilst wearing their fashionable and crazy costumes.
We fell in love with the menu at the first glance. Noticing the range of colourful dishes, we came to understand the strong influence that Harajuku kawaii style has on the dishes. We decided to order 2 main dishes and a dessert, sharing everything between us. The “Chicken and Waffles with Monster Dip”we ordered was a combination of syrup, waffles and chicken, and the M.A.D.B.L.T we ordered was a dish which resembled the appearance of a monster. We also ordered the “Colourful Poison Parfait Extreme!”

All the dishes were delicious and tasted just how they looked! If you have never been to the KAWAII MONSTER CAFE, I highly recommend it!
